I am very excited to hear of who got elected Secretary and Treasurer?
Also, Eric and I attended the Howard Dean meeting up at the IBEW Hall in OKC on Thursday and as Eric stated "The man speaks fire" (!!!)
Howard was/is fabulous and inspiring. He galvanized the crowd and made us want to work to create and control the political agenda.

I would like to apologize to Susan Dergoul for casting my vote for Sebastian Lantos for one of the Affirmative Action positions. After learning that he made a negative comment as to Susan's connection to the Hispanic community, I regret having done so. However, I truly believe there is something much more substantial for both she and Elaine Dodd and I feel their outcomes will result in much bigger victories for Progressives in the long run.
I would like to appeal to Mr. Lantos, that he cannot possibly know Ms. Dergoul. If he did, he would agree with all of us that she is "una mujer hispana ser tenida en cuenta". (Susan, I hope that means what I intended: "a Hispanic woman to be reckoned with"!) I hope he will respectfully retract his comment.
